“Wow, can we go to the statue, Mr. C?” exclaimed Cooper, the athletic jokester of the group. “I bet I could swim there!”
“I am sure you could. It’s less than a mile away from the shore,” said a calm, soft voice. The Trackers turned around to see the petite museum director, Ms. Springer. “New Jersey has a lot of cool sites to see, but I can assure you that inside the museum you will find plenty of fun things to touch, explore, and play with. Out of all the things in this state, the Liberty Science Center is my favorite.”
The Trackers made their way into the museum and followed Ms. Springer through exhibits like the Action Zone, a room with a family of Tamaranian monkeys, and the Touch Tunnel. When the tour had finished, they followed Ms. Springer down into the basement of the Science Center. At the end of a long corridor stood the vast metal door of a vault.
Mr. C turned and faced the group. The Trackers could tell from the excitement in his face that whatever was hidden behind the vault’s gigantic metal door was something special.
