The Jersey Trackers were being celebrated at the Rutgers University 250th Anniversary for finding the Imagination Tree seeds. Everyone cheered as Mr. C and the Jersey Trackers helped plant the two seeds.
But there was another planting ceremony taking place deep in the Pine Barrens. At this ceremony there were no marching bands or festive banners or cheering crowds. No, for this was a private, secret ceremony attended by only one: the Jersey Devil.
In a secluded spot, deep in the Pine Barrens, the Jersey Devil planted the third seed. There he would care for and protect it for years and years to come, making sure it grew into a magnificent Imagination Tree.
Now, no matter what, New Jersey and its future great thinkers would never be without the Imagination Tree…thanks to the Jersey Devil!
